FAUX EMBOSSING TECHNIQUE CREATES DIMENSION!

As I continue to share with you my samples featuring In Colors, I also have another technique to feature in today's samples. I had not used this one in a long while. However, I remember how much everyone loved it whenever I taught it in the past, so it seemed like including it in the options I'll be offering for my summer In Color event is a great idea!
FLORAL SILHOUETTE IN HELLO HONEY (faux embossing technique) - "Serene Silhouettes" and "Wetlands" sets.
For the card above, I stamped the floral silhouette image from "Serene Silhouettes" with White Craft Ink on a Hello Honey panel. When the ink was set, I used the Stamp-a-ma-jig to position the same image just a teensy-weensy fraction to the left of the white-stamped one, and overstamped it with Hello Honey ink. This double stamping of color on white inks on matching color cardstock creates an illusion of depth.

My next sample uses the same technique in Lost Lagoon with the seabirds image from the "Wetlands" set. The grasses image is stamped only in white. The background is a splatter image from "Gorgeous Grunge" stamped in both Lost Lagoon and Baked Brown Sugar on the Whisper White card.
"WETLANDS" and "GORGEOUS GRUNGE" sets; Baked Brown Sugar, Lost Lagoon and Whisper White cardstocks and inks. (Faux embossing technique)
Don't forget, these will be offered as options at my Summer In Color Event! Contact me for more information!
