IN COLOR "SAMPLER" CARDS

I always love creating "samplers" that show off all the colors in an In Color group. For the two cards shown here, I used one of my all-time favorite (and oh-so-easy!) techniques: faux quilting with the Big Shot.
2013-15 IN COLORS "SAMPLER" WITH "HIP NOTES" and "BANNER BANTER" SETS AND BANNER PUNCH. TEXTURE EMBOSSED WITH "PERFECT POLKA DOTS" EMBOSSING FOLDER.
To stamp the Crisp Cantalope banner layer with polka dots (same ink color), I inked the raised dots on the embossing folder and used it like a stamp! (BTW, the Pistachio Pudding in this photo is showing up a bit on the lime side instead of the soft pastel it really is...)

2014-16 IN COLOR "SAMPLER" WITH "HIP NOTES" SENTIMENT SET AND BANNER PUNCH. TEXTURE EMBOSSING WITH "ARGYLE" EMBOSSING FOLDER.

To do the faux quilting, just glue colored cardstock shapes to a contrasting panel (I used Whisper White), stamp something if you like, then put the panel in a "Textured Impressions" embossing folder and run it through the Big Shot! You can also adhere your panel to another background panel before texturizing and then texture emboss the whole thing, as I did.
